We are Patti and Barb, and we became friends and sisters-in-law in 1984. But it wasn’t until much later that we discovered the fun of painting watercolor cards to celebrate the special people and occasions in our lives. 

With our large and loving family, there is no shortage of birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and holiday celebrations! It makes our hearts happy when our family members pass our artwork around the room for everybody to see.

From Family Celebrations to Local Craft Fairs

We branched out from making cards for family events when Barb’s grandson began raising funds for a school trip. We grabbed our brushes and painted in bulk (or at least bulk for us), selling nearly 200 unique cards at local craft fairs and other venues. Our customers loved the hand-painted artistry, especially in this age of digital and AI-generated images. We grew motivated to share that joy and authenticity with even more people.

We envisioned Blossom Pie as a way to easily celebrate the ones you love with hand-designed greetings. 

Spreading Mailbox Joy

With our monthly Greeting Card Subscription and club membership, you’ll receive four unique cards each month delivered to you. We look ahead and paint designs especially for upcoming holidays and events. We then print and mail them to you ahead of your special occasions. And we do it for about the price you’d pay for many mass-produced cards – without the hassle of running to the store! And if you need additional cards, you can always browse our online shop for even more designs to love.
