Celebrate Those August Birthdays 
Make it a special day for your favorite August-born humans. August people are known for their natural leadership and optimistic outlook. They have magnetic charisma and warmth, while always being loyal and reliable – the very definition of a bestie!
Their birthstone is the peridot, a striking lime-green gem forged in volcanic fire that represents strength and vitality. August is one of the most common birth months – some speculate that’s because parents like to snuggle up in the cooler and darker months of November and December. 
This month (26th) marks the ratification in 1920 of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which gave women the right to vote in the United States. August also is one of the best months to look to the evening sky. The annual Perseid meteor shower lights up the warm night skies with peak summer stardust. It’s no wonder that our August-born friends bring so much brightness and warmth to our lives!
